About Watermans Goldsmiths and Jewellers

David started his career in diamond mounting at the age of 14, working evenings and weekends at a Hatton Garden-trained master craftsman’s jewellery workshop. He then entered his apprenticeship with the same company at the age of 15.
David continued to offer bespoke services solely to the jewellery trade until relocating to Banbury with his wife Kim opening Waterman’s jewellers in the spring/summer of 1989.

Over the years David has trained a number of apprentices. Among the young people David has trained is Simeon Lewis. Simeon started his apprenticeship at 16. He served his full apprenticeship and continued to work with David & Kim for over 10 years. He then started his own company offering trade services to many jewellers in the Oxfordshire area.

David & Simeon have now teamed up to create this website to display their very latest designs and showcase their passion for handmaking beautiful jewellery.
